Default Place to teach my friend how to bike in oakland area?!?!

so my friend is buying a streetbike but has never ridden before so i figure i'll take him out on my dirtbikes to help him get the hang of it so he doesn't kill himself.

any body know any place or have a HUGE yard/woods i can help him learn the basics at?
case of brews for the trouble

i told him he's an idiot for buying one in the first place and not knowing how to ride... hell, ive been riding for over 8 years and i barely trust myself (and all the other dumbasses on the road) on a bike...

The class provides the motorcycle so it doesn't matter if you fall down or not.

70% of all motorcycle accidents the rider was self taught or taught by friends who 'knew' how to ride. No offense intended, but the class takes a rookie from how to get on a motorcycle, to tight figure 8's in a box, to swerving to avoid obstacles.

Just a suggestion on my part to take the class, but it also gives a discount on insurance, and classes cost $25.
