More Power Project

94 jeep wrangler
Im running a 4.5 hesco stroker that Iv have in the jeep about 4yrs. It runs very strong. Found a guy online did this upgrade , I was suprised of the results the overall power it made.

.060 over bore, custom off set ground crank, 4" bore & 4" stroke

not cheap but should give just about the same power as a Hemi

why not throw a hemi in there because then when you want more power you can build that up..

hemi + manual trans = no go
you're claiming about the same power as the hemi, but yet you state to NOT do a hemi since the trans won't last. so why bother spending the time and money on the 6 to just trash the trans anyway?

My AX-15 didnt last with my stock 4.0. I had to do a rebuild and it still broke so when i did the engine, i threw the NV4500.. So when you have to do the same thing, you might as well go with the V8...

no im not saying the trans wont last, im saying its expensive to run a manual trans behind a hemi. it would be far easier to install a hemi & auto trans but i wanna be different, even if it costs more.

I totally understand different. I don't know about you but if I had the money I'd be searching for every off the wall mod just because of the challenge. You should do a buildup thread on that engine.
