well put the 8.8 and the new 30 in this weekend . went pretty good. 4.56 gears woke up the 35's ! the aussie locker is wicked in 4x4 on the pavement but in 2wd it's not even noticeable ! got some 100w bulbs to put in my 50 w lights also .now cant wait to go wheeling !

Don't really care for the flares but that is just my opinion. Other than that, looks great.

What's the point of compressing the front end? I guess that could be a stupid question?

Can I ask what the Ford 8.8 ran you with the pirch kit on it allready?

BTW - Love what you've done with the Jeep -

Only changes I would have are the fender flares to the pocket bush wackers and remove the fake rubicon stickers.

for hill climbs it keeps the front end down thus a lower cog for less roll possibilty.

Just to let you know, those 100w lights are not legal in michigan. You are not allowed to have anything over 55w. I know no cops will probabily know that, but FYI

All5ofus - i picked up the 8.8 and all set up with the brackets all welded on and newer brakes and 4.56 gear with a lsd and the front dana 30 with 4.56 gears and newer brakes for only $500.00 for everything ! off craigs list ! ended up being 3 miles from my house !

i put it on for climbing steep grades. the front un loads and feels light some times so i will try it and i heard it can help you out whyle crawling if you need to level the axle instead of it beeinghigh sided! and i did it for under 65.00.

harbor freight winch 30.00 on sale with 20% off coupon
winch wireing kit 20.00 venom out doors .com on sale
u bolts and pully and steel- scrap from my garage free o and its fun to play with !

Motorcitydak -- didnt know that ! but they are for off road and how would they be able to tell !
