Default Hooking up B&M shifter

Just picked up a b&m shifter to use on my tf999 auto trans. Was wondering if anybody had any pics of how they connected the shift cable to the transmission?

Thanks,
Ben

Ben,

I did mine on my TF727 no real issues. There should be an assortment of little metal brackets, find the one that attaches to a TF999 and bolt it to the little shifter level on the side of the trans.

It should be fairly straight forward.

Well i think it is the z-gate shifter. Think i should have gotten the megashifter or one like it but i got it used. Was told it came off a th350 so guess i will have to custom make me something to mount it to the tranny.

Or you can just call B&M, get the part #, and buy the right bracket. They come with the brackets depending on which application you buy the shifter for.

Or you can go to any good parts store and they will probably have it on the shelf. My local Autovalue has the linkage parts for the popular chevy transmissions and the dodge 727.

I would not try and make one, they should be cheap to buy and will save you a bunch on time.

Yeah, that's what the part number is for.
