Default IKEA appliances

Has anyone ever used the IKEA made by whirlpool appliances. Unclebeaner and I have been looking. The IKEA ones seem very reasonably prices and they say "made by whirlpool." The reviews I found seemed pretty good. A lot of people said they wouldn't buy them because of the IKEA label on them. But that doesn't matter to us.

Whirlpool makes lots of lower priced items under different brands. I'd pass.

I bought a cheap dryer years ago, and was pissed when the drum cracked after 2 months.

We got a better deal on nicer ones at Best Buy because we got an open box fridge (in perfect condition) and they gave us a discount for buying everything through them. My hubby tossed around the idea of the ikea appliances. I personally didnt like the idea of buying them also because they say IKEA on them. Mike said that they tend to be the lowest end appliances and the research he did on them also wasnt good.

We had a rebadged cheap whirlpool dryer that lasted for almost 12 years. I think it depends on the type of appliance. I would do some research on them and see what kind of warrenties they offer.
