Default 1990 4runner blower motor

Here's what happened:
First, it's a 1990 Toyota 4runner with 22RE and 5 speed manual tranny. The "battery" and the "brake" idiot lights came on on the dash. The truck runs fine with no issues, no issues with the brakes and the battery is fine.

Then, I notice that both the front and back heater blowers don't work. There's power to the relays under the glove box and I can hear the relays clicking when you turn the power "on". Fuses are good.

Any suggestions?

Both dummy lights meant Alternator for me. Not long after those lights turned on, it died. I just got the brushes from Advanced Auto for like 5 bucks and rebuilt it. Works fine again.

Dunno anything about the blower motors though.

Alternator is bad.

The blower motors don't work even when the engine isn't on and the key is on. With the key in the "on" position I can move the blower switch from "off" to one of the "on" positions and here the relays kick on.

I'm done with it for today. I know I have power to the relays for the blower motors under the dash and all the fuses are good. I'll have to check and see if there's power at the blower motors themselves. It's weird. They worked fine until the alternator thing started.

The truck sat since January so.........who knows.
