It's bullshit, but not to worry. When the insurance company's go bankrupt, they will just get bailout money anyway.

Saving my opinion until more of the facts are available.

"I only hope the administration will really listen to us then. This matter has far more serious ramifications than the President is imagining," concluded the Commander.

PFFFT. What, We expect Obama to start worrying about the ramifications of his actions now? Don't hold your breath.

And anyway, this should not be any surprise to anyone. Liberals and Democrats have long been anti-military anyway. They're always the ones who want to cut the defense budgets and troop levels, while clearly showing phony support for the troops while they are in office, or while trying to get elected. Hell, when BHO was campaigning, on several occasions he painted what our troops are doing in Iraq in a very bad light.

Never been a big fan of men being elected Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Services that have never served. They can never fully understand.

I read this:

Quote:
While giving the administration the benefit of the doubt that they may dismiss the proposal, Jon Soltz, executive director of VoteVets, nevertheless offered preemptive disappointment.

"We don't know if this is going to be the proposal, or if it is a serious consideration or not," he told the Huffington Post. "So, it's premature to go to the White House with pitchforks at this point.................."
And I will go out on a limb and say this is an idea that has come up at a very early stage of discussion.

Brainstorming is done all the time, all over the world. Corporate, government, etc. There is no such thing as a bad idea during these brainstorming sessions. I know this sounds rediculous to some, but it is the truth. No matter how insane an idea is, get it on the table so, if need be, it can be dismissed.

I hope this idea of Private Insurance being used for Service related injuries dies on the table. It would be reprehensible in my opinion.

Cliffnotes: It is just an idea that was broached at the very early stages of the 2010 budget proposal discussion.

I have been through many seminars over the years about brain storming.

The whole idea is to throw out anything that comes to mind, good or bad. This allows a free flow of ideas.

Theoretically, the perfect idea will come out eventually.

Maybe, but the trick is trying to spot it among all the stupid ideas like this one.
