The rear suspension is starting to come along pretty good. I hope to have the rear on wheels soon.

Well I wasn't happy with the way that the rear suspension ended up so I started over. The lower control arms would bottom at the frame after only 4 1/2 to 5". I know that I don't need much more travel than that but I want the option to get this to sit low.

I ended up triangulating the lowers to be able to make everything to work out a little better but I have alot less room to work with now for the upper mounts at the frame. I have played around on the the 4 link calculator for awhile and can't seem to get everything the way I want it. I will post some pics tomorrow.

Here are some pics of the new setup. I decided to triangulate the lowers to clear the frame which give me more travel then will ever be able to use.

Now onto the front axle

I got the front axle a little closer tonight. I need to figure out my steering and some way to squeeze a trackbar in. I may end up cutting the front part of the frame off that starts to come back down to give me some more clearance.

Here is a pic with the 3 links testing to see where I hit

This gives a good view to how much stretch the rear will have. I have it sitting on 4 wheels now and measured 106".

The UPS guy also brought me some new parts last week

I wasn't happy with the room I had for my steering and my trackbar with the frame dropping so low in front so I took care of it. I took 2 pie shaped cuts from the frame to level out the font where it dips down. I will have to build a new mount for my grill and remove the body lift from it but I think its going to work out alot better this way.

I plan to add some plates on the inside and outside before I am done also for extra strength.

before

1st cut

after

I got my wheels back today. I want to give a big thumbs up to Tab for the great work on cutting new centers & recentering them and to CPK_Jim for the awesome powdercoating.

I finally got my bender monted up and bent up some coilover hoops and a cross bar. I plan to make the cross bar between the coilover hoops removable but I will get to that later. I also got my runflats cut down and the tires mounted up. I love how easy the h1s are to mount up

My helper...
