Default Cj To Tj Front Clip

Wondering if anybody have changed the TJ front clip to a CJ front clip, I have two CJ clips so I was curios if it was a possibility.

tj clip is alot shorter in the grill area and the hood lines dont match the cowl at all from what i remember when i tried doing it

I have seen it done once, have no specifics on how. Look up 1998 issues, I believe of Petersen's 4wdor, guy had a Scrambler with a full hardtop, put a TJ clip on the front. It was citron green, I believe with 36" cepek fun countries. There were pics of it in the 1998 Moab EJS coverage, I believe.

I know back in 98, I had a pic of that on my desk a Jeep/Truck engineering, it looked great.

why would I try it on a yj when I have an 05 rubicon with a smashed front clip and windshield frame from my rollover, anyhow tomorrow we are going to attempt to put a cj clip on a tj.
