nope, the parts for sale are from my other TJ. Im simplifing that build so i can get it running by the Dream Cruise(hopefully)

My White TJ right now is at Unlimited Offroad Center in Fenton getting worked on. The hybrid front 44/60 is getting reworked with Solid Axle Balljoint knuckles, keyed highsteer arms, and their 35 spline outer setup. Ill have a retarded strong 44. Its also getting a PSC hydro assist steering kits installed, and im having my OMF beadlocks mounted.

Once I get it back from them Ill be installing a STak RAC dana 300(build up on that soon), mount my Lowrance Baja 540c GPS, repaint my axles, frame, bumpers, rocker guards and skids, finish my interior storage box, install my dual battery kit and finish work on my expedition trailer. I also wanna build a new outside rack that will offer more hardtop protection, and have a cage built for the inside.

Money willing in the fall it will be time for its next transformation. Plans include Genrights rear strech kit, 4 link rear, 3 link front, front coilover & hydro bumps, possibly the same in the rear or just coils. I also plan on high rise tube fenders, Hunsaker synkro seats w/harness's. The body & hardtop will get cleaned up, removing any rust or damage and then get repainted White.

The only things I wanna do after that are build a stroker for it and a rear full float HP 60

haha, yes and no. The White TJ is my baby, so it gets first in line for the good parts. The Red TJ is something I can beat on and not feel bad about doing so. With the current list of parts I have for it now, minus tires it should only cost me about 2grand to finish it. It will be a simple bare bones rig to start with then ill go from there.

Here are some pics of the Jeep as its being worked on at Unlimited Offroad Center in Fenton. Most of the PSC hydro assist gear is installed, the hybrid 44/60 is under the front, front beadlocks are mounted, and a "custom" tierod has been made:tonka: Im not sure how long the wood will hold up but they say its fine.

Right now their waiting on a bunch of parts from Solid Axle so they can finish up the front axle. Then they can finish up the install of the hydro assist parts, then go to the back and install the new rear beadlocks.

What's wrong with the tie rod we made? I try so hard to keep you happy and this is how you repay me?

Knuckles should be here "any time now" according to Solid.

wow, so its that time again. Can we say rebuild? Very soon my TJ will get taken off the road, stripped naked and preped for the next round of mods, heres a sneak peak of things to come:

quick run down: 4 link front(hopefully extend front axle 2-3"), 4 link rear using poly rear brackets and their rear truss, run Genright's high tube fenders, extended length rocker guards, and rear strech corners that will be trimmed to fit 39's-42's. As im doing that im going to modify my rear frame and move my rear bumper up to just below the rear tailgate. Ill be installing a Stak Replace-a-cast D300 and a Northwest Fab black box. Axles and wheels will be gone through and cleaned up. I finally plan on getting a full roll cage built that will incorperate a rack to protect the hardtop(mini exo cage), get some nice seats and build a custom center counsol and rear storage compartment. Later this summer, money provided ill build a 5.0 I6 stroker motor and a nv3550 trans.

Things that are still in the air: what fuel tank to run. I dont like the idea of spending $900 on genrights rear tank, so once the rear suspension is in place where i want it ill have to see what my options are. I thinking one of these reworked might fit the bill

Im waiting on my fathers car to get trans work done before i tear this thing apart, and sell off parts i no longer need. Parts are starting to get ordered, so with luck work will start later this month or the beginning next.

I know 2 Track Minds is building a front bumper similar to the one Sniperfab has and they also have Highline tube fenders near completion (just a suggestion to keep dollars local).

What are you going to do about the 44/60 now that you'll be running bigger tires?

Looks like a cool list of mods!

the 44/60 will be plenty strong for 40's. The only major weak point on my front axle is the 44 ring gear. I wanna get a pair of longfields 300m u joints and have the gears cryo'ed, ill see where money is towards the end.
