The jr is what my 8 year old drives. the camaro is mine. It ran an 11.28 and only pulled the wheels a few inches for a split second. the front end may feel light going down the track but is not lifting.

Ok, real talk now. Im gonna say yer car puts out 250 crank HP if yer lucky. To make the kinda power you wanna make you will have to spend some dollars on some decent stuff. You can run 11.5ish to 1 on 94 IF you had an aluminum head and someone that could time the car correctly.

Nice car. Seeing that I apologise for the comment earlier. AGAIN though. My car is twisting and lifting the wheel off the ground like one inch. If that.

My 88' YJ with a mopar 360 is my toy.

making 310hp at the wheels is harder than making 310hp at the crank... you do have a loss of HP by the time it gets to the rear.

you really should watch those finger slips

you realize you're gonna loose a hell of a lot more than 20hp through your drive train right ? i believe it's about 20-30% with something older.. so you're looking at around 260-270 horse after drive train

so you've got a 3500 lb car running 260 horse to the ground.. you're looking around the HIGH 13's low 14's depending on how the cars suspension is working.. but still you're not near enough to pull the wheels..

and thats with 20% power loss

As far as getting 12.1 by just milling your heads, it won't happen. You would need to add domed pistons. You could run pump gas with 12.1 but you would need to retard your timing to prevent spark knock. I would suggest buying a set of sportsman II's or soemthing. they flow better stock than most gm factory heads that have been worked on. And they are relatively cheap. Ypu can run vortec heads but you have to bu a different intake manifold due to the fact that the vortec heads only have 4 intake bolts per side opposed to the normal 6 per side. Put a 3.73 or 4.10 gear in the car and you will really see a differnce in power.

Instead of cumming on here claiming your car is going to make 410hp at the wheels with just head work, you need to dyno it, show the graphs.

You can't just come up with a HP number by the components in the engine...there is to many variables that come into play.
