Default 82 scrambler f/s

my buddy wanted me to post his 82 scrambler
258 with i belive to be a ax15 dana 20 with a dana 35 up front amc 20 in the rear its bone stock and the tub is pretty much shot ok its wasted lol but it runs and drives and is bone stock as far as we know

has like 80k miles on it needs a tub and it leaks some oil from the valve cover

it would be a good project frame appears to be solid

If its a 5-speed and "bone stock", it is a T-5/D300 with a Dana 30 front and C20 rear.


Edit: Could be either NT or WT. 1982 was the changeover year.

it could be that trans and t case and whatnot iam not sure i was taking a guess at it

AX-15's weren't used in CJ's and Dana 20's weren't used after 1979, not to mention that those two things aren't compatible with each other from a bolt pattern standpoint. There's really no reason why anyone would want to mate the two.

You're sure its a 5-speed? Go here and look at all the pictures/descriptions to identify it:
