the 8 gig has plenty enough storage on it, i don't think its worth it to spend the extra $$$ for the 16 gig.

I had an iPod before the iphone. Because of pandora and aol radio I don't use the iPod feature anymore. Phone is not heavy. Huge down fall is no zoom on the camera but photos are very nice. Also they make a arm band holder for it which is awesome when working or in the gym.

Also Internet is awesome just wish there was a flash player app.

As far as I know, you can basically do the same thing afterward in a photo editor that digital zoom does. It's essentially just enlarging and cropping the picture, while at the same time lowering quality.

That's a decision everyone can make on their own. Others would say you're crazy not to pay $100 for double the space. Anyways, if you get hardcore into watching movies or something on it, it's generally worth the money. Considering the iPhone has no expansion capabilities, you're stuck with your decision until you buy a whole new phone.

No, although I'd definitely invest a few dollars into a decent case.

Yes and Yes, in a pinch. For trip navigation I still prefer my full size dash-mountable Garmin.

It's gotten much better with the 2.2 code updates.

It all depends what you do with your iPhone. I have a 16gb model and only have 1gb left.. It's very easy to fill up 16gb if you have a fair number of music files, videos, podcasts, etc..

I'm looking forward to a 32gb or 64gb model.
