Default Snowstorms are lame

People in the lower peninsula just dont know how to drive in the snow. One snow flake falls on the ground and everybody drops their speed to 25. Now I understand if they have a rear wheel drive car and aren't that good at driving it, but if you have front wheel drive you should be able to accelerate at a decent speed. It took me 25 minutes to get home from school when it normally takes maybe 10. Oh yeah having a yukon xl with auto 4wd makes it so much easier to drive in the snow. I can drift around corners and the yukon handles it no problem and keeps me on the road.
Another thing is I love plow trucks. Not the big county rust makers but the little trucks. Like the people who just love plowing snow. They are so cool. I saw a guy today doing atleast 30 in reverse then slammed on the brakes then punched it and dropped the blade. He cleared the whole parking lot in like 3 minutes.
Then I saw a diesel plowing so much snow there was like black smoke pouring out of his stacks. Which to me didnt seem like a great idea but it was cool.
Thats the end of my little rant.

Anyone have any good snow storm stories from today?

yeah some asshole in a yukon xl almost ran me off the road, because she realized she couldn't stop in time since the roads were slick.

I was on Davison freeway tonight. There was a back up to get onto 75. I watched this guy lock up his brakes and fly up the embankment to avoid hitting the last car in the back up. I laughed while I was going sideways taking up 2 lanes doing 105mph in 4 wheel drive while taking a drag off my cigarette. Ghetto people suck at driving in the snow.

Why do people rely on ABS to stop them, every intersection it seems they just hit the brakes and hope they stop in time. ABS just working away even though they are only going 10.

I hear ya, if you can't drive in the snow get outta the way. I hate when they get side by side doing 30 mph in a 55.

Lead, Follow or get the hell outta the way!

Yeah, I'm the A-hole in the plow truck passing everyone

Hey what do you get when you mix 1 part frozen street with 1 part mud truck. A 4 wheel drive hockey puck that likes the ditch. My bud found that out the hard way when he put his 1980 something lifted f250 in the ditch. Love the ppl that drive 4x4 because it makes them feel tough. Gives a good show.

I just got in from plowing out the neighborhood. Have about 5 inches so far, nice not to have to wake up to dealing with that.

People doing 25 MPH on a freeway, can't stay in their lane, and there's only a few inches between the lanes. The lane itself is clear. People can't drive to save their lives.

i got side swiped today, because some jerkoff thought it would be fun to drive down the division of a 4 lane road. i was trying to take the turn off howard by hardings and south middle school, just past crosstown, he must have not seen me with my duster lights, fog lights, caution light, and headlights on. soo instead of going head on into a tree, i steered into him and took out his mirror and headlight. said watch where your'e going and let him go..he would be at fault, so he thanked me and went on his way. enjoy paying for your new fancy heated blinky mirror and headlamp jerkoff.

I stuck it in 4WD and drove 40 just about everywhere. Barely anybody goin past 25. Watched a GMC Canyon pull his ass out from under him and fly sideways across 4 lanes on Baldwin in front of GLC. Almost the same with a Ranger on Telegraph, almost spun but just barely saved it.
