I like it!

Similar to the Rev fenders that aren't made anymore. I like it a bunch!

I considered making a set sorta like that (going up into the hood) and now that my jeeps done I dont really need the clearance so I dont need to. Yours turned out real nice. I like the trim job on the hood, its looks very clean.

I have been trying to figure out how I want to build my tube fenders.

I'm kind of thinking retaining my inner fender and building those. I was also thinking something similar to that but without cutting into the hood.

Having done yours, you think this is possible?

I dont think you can. if you dont cut the hood, the tire will hit it. i bet that would be a mess if it did...the only other way would be go back fater on the angle (not so much on the front) like they did on extreme 4x4, but my tire rub where my bends are.

Well, my thoughts were the Rev fenders didn't cut up into the hood so it should work. I was kind of thinking basically just making it more of a raised flare so it isn't just like every other tube fender. Also, I'm thinking the outside will be raised so it'll gain some clearance, and the inside will not bother it much because it's farthur towards the center? Maybe make sure there isn't really any sharp edges if it does hit?

I don't know, I'm just thinking out loud. I really like yours. Come make me some! lol
