Not that i disagree, I'm just saying that a lot of the general population doesn't think that far ahead.

People are very short minded, low gas prieces just stalls the change that was taking place cause $4 gas. I bet there are people buying a more big SUVs cause gas is back down. Not that cheap gas is a bad thing, people just have to be less stupid.

I drove a full size SUV at $4
I will drive a full size SUV at $5
I will drive a full size SUV at $6

As long as they make a luxury full size suv, that is what I will drive.

But I do enjoy the cheaper gas prices :)

Too bad they can't get credit and don't trust the automakers enough to buy one

Wholesale propane prices are down to around $0.71. Add in about $0.75 for transportation/taxes and you have a wholesale cost of about $1.45 to $1.50.

BUT, the wholesale propane companies that supply you (and me) probably bought their winter supply or at least a very large percentage of it over the past 12-16 months per their standard risk management practices and policies. That means that they probably locked in when propane prices were up close to $2.25-2.50 or more.

On October 1, wholesale propane was at about $2.19 ($1.44 +.75).

The middle eastern dudes got scared that with gas at $120 a barrel, we were actually going to try making fuel efficient cars and start using alternative fuels. Now everyone will just forget about it until it happens again.

oh don't worry, i'd suspect fuel prices will go up magically at the same time the economy turns around and people start buying cars again.

I agree, it is funny how history repeats itself over and over again.

A lot of people on here would pay to see that even if gas was $100/gal.

What is funnier is that people never learn from it.
