Ok for this weekend:
-moved the grill forward just under 1" to make some more room inside the engine bay and to line up some other stuff.
-got the full hydro ram mount tacked in and links made..
Thanks Tab.. Mount work like a champ
-got the orbital mount made and a new steering shaft made
-and finished the air shock mounts upper/bottoms so that i can swing the jeep around and start the front..

Heres some pics.

I moved it over 2" like i told you on the phone.. So CL -CL on the heims is 10"s on the short side. I have to move the hole mount over and than means making a new mount because of my upper control arm mounts

ok, and I'd move the ram clamps to the outside of the ports. it will cut down on the leverage that's on them when they are narrower like that.

ok, I see it now... you cant do one without doing the other because it will allow the ram to slide out... if you want to get creative then you can more one and not the other, it';ll just take some time on the mill.

Alright this is what the Jeep looks like now....

I Getting rid of the 4.0L in favor for a V8. Reasons: I dont wanna spend all this time redoing my suspension, drive shafts, fuel when next year or the yr after id switch it all out again. So the 4.0 is forsale.(check it out) It was a strong engine and its in great shape.

Already have.. with the 4.2 crank and rods. the only thing i havent done was put i the mustang 5.0 injectors ( thats what i was told to run) and tune it. But id rather start of at 300 Hp and move up instead of wasting time to just get 300 Hp.

oh...
arent the 4.0s a lot lighter then a v-8 ??

i wish i had a lighter engine in mine my weight bias is like 20% rear 80% front.. i can barely lift it on a hoist without strapping the frame down to the arm..

Well Ive heard that theres like a 60lbs diffence if not less. But I mean its a full bodied jeep, one tons, 40s and some sort of atlas or stak 60 lbs wont be anything and its not a comp rig so id rather deal with little more weight than less power
