Default Obama's Speech - It's a good one!

For those that might have missed it and in case it hasn't been posted.
I found this speech very moving and inspirational, more so than many i can remember.

I thought McCain's was good too. I missed this McCain during the campaign. Reminds me of the older version of McCain.

Yup good speeches.

I am glad Obama kept his skin color to a minimum. And I am getting sick of hearing about it from reporters already.

great speeches by both. McCain should have had more of these types of speeches earlier on.

As usual Obama said all the right things. But now I'm more interested in what he does than says.

Very frightening speech by Obama. The crowd was not much better, gays and confused people.

It was a good speech... too bad he turned it into preaching

"YES WE CAN"

I agree 100%.

They were both very good speeches.

Obama's was inspiring, but as Bruce implied, not is the time for him to walk the walk. Only time will tell.

This is the McCain I liked back in 2000. This is the McCain that had a shot. I hope he takes a long time to retire because he is needed in Washington still.

Obama has always been a good speaker... thats how you become the President of the United States without actually doing anything in your past.

Anyone notice anything in Obama's speech just after the 11 minute mark? I am sure the clowns that voted him in dont have any plans along those lines.

I agree 100% on both parts.

I want to see Obama walk the walk, especially since I voted for him.

This was the McCain that I wanted to be able to vote for back in 2000 and would have if he had become the candidate. I think he became prey to unfortunate planning, information, and advice...

the self reliance remark.

The ghetto clowns that voted for him because he is black think they are going to get a free ride.

I understand some people voted for him because they think he is the better candidate. I dont run across those people.

I think there is going to be some very disappointed people when he asks people for a sacrifice, and I am not just talking about taxes (e.g. could be military service, national security service, etc).

There is no free lunch, however, I am actually pretty excited about some of the programs, community service for funds for college. What a great way to get young people back involved in the community.
