Default Help em' or let em' rot

Iraq. Do we stay and help their government become stable, in hopes of less extremists and domestic violence that spreads around the world.....or do we let them deal with it themselves? If we stay, we save American lives and money right now, but rist loosing lives and money in the future. Your thoughts.

its hard to justify. the local government wants us out, the whole of the country is in turmoil. the idea we just walk away is great, but then the UN will have to step up and take over. sounds kinda like two steps backward if you know what I mean?

pull out. like obama says. make our troops look like shit. make us look like even more lazy. just give up. he cannot concentrate on iraq, he has to work on the obama communist manifesto implementation.

Stay. it won't be long until there are great benefits. benefits of which obama and the can take 100% credit for.

Just a recap. Obama wants to stay and slowly let Iraqi troops take over, if it works. If they take over and things go to hell, our troops stay.

Early on in his campaign he wanted them out right after he's elected. Then he wavered (as usual) to pull more votes...

Do you have some super-secret insight into this war that allows you to decipher which one of these plans is better?

It's funny that the first reason we went to Iraq was in response to Bin Laden, but you say that bringing them home soon would be making them leave in failure. What about killing Osama? Wouldn't that be a failure to kill/capture the man who masterminded the killing of thousands of U.S. citizens?

It's also funny that you're all for helping the less privelaged Iraqi's become a better nation so they quit breeding violence, while you are against helping poor Americans whom breed violence in our own back yards. In both cases, it costs more now, but will have massive benefits in the future.

who said he's for helping the iraqi's? he may be for killing them...

now that you mention it... some might suggest that as a solution for folks that breed violence in our own backyards as well...
