Center all the wording on the page, especially the main image.

make a page dedicated to all of the cities you service *seo

change your title to include oakland county, or more importantly, the main cities you service. *seo

The phone number literally scrolls away and never repeats. You should have that in bold letters on the top of every page along with the line "OPEN 24/7 365 DAYS"

list if you're licensed or insured

change your email address to xxxxx@pyramidlock.com and put an out forward on it to your hotmail account.

fix this sentence: Welcome to pyramid lock open 24/7 for the following service's.

I would have a page with a PDF or JPG file that people can print that has your phone number in an easy to cut out credit card size image people can store in their glovebox or wallet.

Thank you for the suggestion's CC. That is one of the reason's for posting for good feedback for me to fix. Some of your suggestion's will be easy for me but some will be hard with me using a site builder I think but I will work and try to get it figured out.

Thank you for the help.

I would definitely ad an "about us" section. When selling a service you are also selling yourself and potential customers will be more comfortable calling you if they "know a little about you".

I also think that you could really clean up the "service" page by separating by defining services and the benefits of that service. Right now it's hard to tell what is a service and whats a benefit. I can offer more suggestions on this. You should construct that page so it is another sales agent for you.

I don't think you are sending the message you mean to send in this sentence on the home page: "Deal direct with the owner for your best price and service". What are you trying to communicate there? To me I think your sales associates/employees can't offer the best customer services/prices. What might be a better way to state that your business is the best in the area is to state "Call PyramidLock for the best price and service in Oakland Co." or something along these lines if that's what you mean. You should state that if it's true, and some basic market research would help you find your right message.

And, down the road/asap you should make your site readable on mobile devices. If people are stuck on the road and remember your brand many are going to try to look it up on their phone/browser.

I think you have a ton of potential to build this into a great site for your business and expand on your marketing.

The deal direct with owner part is because of all the scam locksmith add's that are out there. some ppl know about them some don't and I figured that would make them more comfortable with my company. Maybe I should say local owned and operated?

The site look's pretty good on my motoq9c and alot of ppl are walking around with pda phones now. I would not even know where to begin for a mobile site. one of the advantages of that would be they could just click on the number to call like they can on my mobile google ad.

I see what you are saying about the scams, that didn't cross my mind. Yes, I think using words like locally owned etc would help. And, this is where an 'about us' page would help a lot too.

A professional blog might help ease your potential customers and differentiate your service from a scam. You could 'blog' about topics related to your industry, helpful hints, how to avoid a scam, etc. Plus blogs help a lot with your SEO and can be short and sweet. We use Word Press and it makes bloging easy and pretty painless.

I agree about your comment with the mobile devices. All they need to do is find your phone number!

How is the for the about page? enough info? I am not the best writer.

About Pyramid Lock
I started out over 20 years ago as a Home Improvement contractor here in MI. My Father trained me in that business and alway's taught me that the only way to make money in a business is to treat the customer right and do the job right the first time. You are not making money if the customer is not happy or you are going back for repair's. Three year's ago I decided it was time leave that business and pursue my own personal business. I trained with two nationwide company's for over 2 years until I was satisfied with my skillset to start my own company. The reason for training for so long was to make sure I could follow what my father always taught me about doing treating the customer right and doing the job right the first time.

Thank You

Jeff "Pyramid Lock"

I have not uploaded it yet so I could get some input on it. Also does a links page help with SEO or to let them know a little about my interests and maybe my suppliers?

About Pyramid Lock:
I started out over 20 years ago as a home improvement contractor here in Michigan. My Father guided me in the construction field and always conveyed the message that the only way to be successful in business is to treat the customer right and do the job properly the first time.

Three year's ago I decided it was time to get out of the construction field and pursue my own career in lock smithing. I trained with two nationwide company's for many years until I was satisfied with my abilities and chose to start my own company.

With my knowledge of the industry, and with the guidance of my Father, I believe I can do the job both quickly, and properly.

Thank You
Jeff "Pyramid Lock"

-did this in a hurry, but I corrected most of the mistakes. somebody else can finish.

It's only a suggestion, but I think saying "the only way to succeed in business.." versus "the only way to make money.." because from a customers point of view it's less greedy, at least that was my thought the first time I read it through. Up to you, these need to be your words! Show confidence and brag a bit here!

One additional suggestion is to talk about your company as "We" not just "I" it makes your company seem more professional and established. Even though it might be just you right now, if you ever add staff or employees it will be a team/we effort...gives you more credibility in the market and will show people you are in it for the long haul and you are not going to flake out of business in a few months.

I would definitely add your linkedin profile (a must these days) and yea, talk about your interests so that customers can relate to you and talk about your suppliers so they know the quality products you are working with.

Have you heard about linked in, do you have a profile? If no, get one. It's basically an online/interactive resume. Customers/colleges etc can leave recommendations about you/your service. You can get connected with critical people to your business, etc. As CEO of a company you will have more responsibilities than just providing your service.

What did you think of my blog idea?
