Speedway motors is a real good parts source for all kinds of hot rod parts. They have a very good selection of dropped axles for just about anything, even straight axels for gassers too.

My uncle went with a rat rod look on his 56 f-100. He left the body original and found a 2002 Ford ranger chassis w 20,000 miles that was rolled and put his body on that. He basically cut the floorpan/firewall out of the Ranger and the floor/firewall out of the 56 and slid the body over the top. The wheelbase is 1/2" difference between the 2. It rides pretty awesome since its 2002 suspension, looks like a 50 year old truck that can cruise at 80 all day with the air on. He took out a leaf or 2 in the back adjusted the torsion bars in the front to lower it a little. My dad worked his magic on some pinstriping with a paint stick to finish it off

I bought mine for guy that sells vintage parts called Gas Axe Garage . I thought he said it was a Belltech. Its for a T-Bucket chassis (narrower than stock) My main frame is from Speedway for a bucket , too.
