Widening will be easy. Watch your weight distribution, to much weight behind the axles will cause towing conditions you won't like.

The whole reasoning for widening the back half is to be able to haul 3 atvs and the s10 up north in on truck.. the s10 will be right up against the front of the trailer backwards im sure.. plus an atv in the bed of the truck..

dude, you can either use the tube, or just build angle brackets and put wood on them. I know alot of trailers use that when they are hauling wider equipment. you can make them swing out of the way if you want or make them stationary. you can use tube or square stock.that would be the easiest thing. I belive the width is 102".
