its a privilege. i do agree that it should cost a little less. insurance companies and hospitals, on top of malpractice lawsuits, have driven it to the current price.

doesn't everyone in the US have health care? if you go into an emergency room in this country, you get taken care of, citizen or not. by health care, do you mean insurance?

but as a citizen, you get sent a bill. you have the option of not paying it, but they will wreck your credit. wetbacks get free health care, since they cannot be turned away by law, and they don't have a ss number etc. so billing them is almost impossible.

too many lawyers running around suing ... skyracketing malpractice insurance

and i would rather be able to see a specialist surgeon when I need one and have a huge bill to pay than to die waiting for an opening (as is the case with national health care in countries that have it)

I don't see why it can't be sort of more like medi-care, where there is the basic type of coverage, then you can buy supplemental policies to go along with them.

I believe for children 18 and younger it should be a right; beyond that it should be your responsibility to obtain healthcare

heath care costs suck,

Its really not a right but more of a privlage IMO.

The "unhealthy" obese, illegals and um oh yea the sue everyones are driving up the costs.
