I wish my wifes Suburban was 2500 with a 7.4L.....but no its a 1500 with a 5.7L vortec. I got tired of looking for a 2500...so settled on 1500.

Nice looking rig, I like those wheels.

Thank you.

It's got a custom exhaust with:
Thorley Headers into...
Single 3" collector into...
3" High Performance Cat into...
3" single intlet/dual outlet Flowmaster and...
Finally to dual angled 18" chrome tips w/ 45degree slash.
Also a K&N and flipped intake cover to help her breathe.

Custom Sound System:
700 watt Pioneer amp powering...
4 sets of JL Audio components in the doors (6.5" mids in front doors, 5" mids in rear passenger doors, 1" tweeters in rear doors and in factory speaker moldings in front dash) and...
1400 watt Sony Xplod amp (damn things 2' long!) powering...
JL's HO212R-W3v2 subwoofer setup (dual 12s).

And a few other things such as:
A few custom painted interior peices that match exterior color (such as dash peices, speaker grilles, etc.)
Aftermarket Headlights w/ Halos and PIAA bulbs (not pictured)
Smoked tail lights
As you can see, the rims and tires (16X8" Helo Maxx8's wrapped in 285/75R16 Goodyear Silent Armour Wranglers)
Front bullbar from Westin w/ 90 PRO Dual Clear Fog/Clear Driving Lamps from PIAA
Cobra CB w/ custom mounted antenna
Every window is tinted (yes, even the windshield which you can't really tell since its already dark inside and it's only 50%, but adds the desired effect)
Cranked the torsion bars a bit to level out the ride.
And upgraded wiring harness for front axle engagement (after replacing the old type for the 4th time, figured reliable instantaneous engagement may be a nice change)
And a few custom burn holes in the upholstry from the previous driver (my brother, how kind of him)

....But other than that she's stock!

The only reason I found this 2500's cuz... well we've had it since it was new.

Oh, and believe me, no you do not want a 2500 w/ the 7.4L ... at least not this one... averages 8MPG

My 5.7L only averages 11-13mpg depending whos driving...best tank was 16. My wife wants a big ass camper and a 454 would tow much better. Does your Burby have 3.73 gears or 4.10's?

3.73 With the size of the tires i'm currently running, i'm sacrificing some torque and hp getting to the ground, but believe me, i'd much rather have that and be able to cruise at 75mph spinning just under 2000rpm... almost reminds me of a diesel But if i really step into it, she can still get up and go
