Question Search Function is buggy.

Searching for the word "quite" in the Vehicles For Sale Forum does not return this thread.

Doesn't matter if you use the default Search Box that drops-down off the Search link at the top of the page, the "Search This Forum" from within Vehicles For Sale, or if you use an Advanced Search. Also does not matter if you search the entire post or just the title.

Using Google to search GL does return a hit. So does using the GL Search with other words in the thread, such as the word "complete".

The thread has been there for days, so I would not think its an issue of not being indexed, etc.

I just wrote the designer of the gl4x4 search algorithm, and he will be responding back shortly.

It would be nice if the AND function worked properly. When searching for 2 or more words with AND in between should only return threads with BOTH words not EITHER one.

You might not have been spelling those words correctly.

vbulletin search sucks. it always has, always will. I installed the best search setup that there is about 6 months ago, and i'm not aware of any new releases.

I use the google search, so I usually don't have problems.
