Interesting how you come out of the wood work just to stir the pot. Don't mistake this for me defending CC because he doesn't need it, and I won't defend him even if I thought he was right about something (which has never happened BTW).

But how blatent can you be?

Most folks have (had) enclosed cabins, heaters and windhield wipers. Yes you might get damp but if you used your head. Then you could of wheeled all day without even getting wet.

What if it had been in the 90`s with the sun beating down on you. Risk of sunburn would put you on the trailer ?

Rain IMHO is not an excuse. Somewhere I think there is a bigger story.
No John, there is no bigger story. Just you trying to stir the shit. Quite frankly, I don't appreciate the insinuation. You may be poking at Kelly but it's hitting pretty close to home for me. Shitty weather and the majority of the people eating pig. Only a handful of people still there. Simple as that. I don't see anyone complaining other than you, a person who didn't even attend.

Please take your attacks somewhere else.

Jim,

I belive the point he was trying to make is that the Gig did put on two meals during the rain storm, People Wheeled and had a great time. I am sorry that it did not go better for your evening event and it sounds like you did have some great wheeling going on during the day, maybe the answer would have been to combine the events and if people would quit making post such as monkeyevils being Marv did not have anything to do with ither of these events this year I feel it was uncalled for.

There was about 6 minutes of planning for the drag races, not months. The fact that people left after being in the rain for 12 hours doesnt exactly ruin an event. There were lots of people there and I would say pretty much all of them had fun. Of course you had people there for food, they paid for it so they wanted something in return. Nobody paid for trophy's or to run the lights (since Deano came up with that a few hours before people started showing up) so when they got there fill they left, big deal. Sounds like you would be an excellent "promotor" so maybe you sould put on the pig gig next year so it doesnt disappear. As long as your not behind the wheel running up trees it should be a good way to pass the time for you.

Thats just it Miffy, he didn't say anything about joining two events. Not that combining the events would have made a difference with the rain.

His post was only to cause bullshit.

I'm happy that people had a good time at both places. But many of us just got tired of the rain. It's that simple, nothing nefarious going on.
