Default McCain has 10 point lead among likely voters. Duh.

even done by usatoday.. I'm surprised they published this.

in the new poll, taken Friday through Sunday, McCain leads Obama by 54%-44% among those seen as most likely to vote. The survey of 1,022 adults, including 959 registered voters, has a margin of error of +/— 3 points for both samples

I'm glad to see it as well. I'm curious though, if the McCain supporters wouldn't mind Palin becoming president if McCain's health deteriorates. I myself, would not. I wonder if people are ok with her being VP but not president.

I wonder if that faktard Russell Brand (please forgive me if I misspelled his name) swayed any voting.

For those who are unaware, he hosted the VMAs last night, and after pleading the audience and viewers to vote Obama, he preceded to take shots at Palin's daughter and the baby (saying that Palin made her daughter get pregnant as a PR stunt).

At first, I thought that this would be harmless, as no educated person would take the un-referenced, un-researched ramblings of an entertainer from the UK seriously when he spoke on American politics, but I watched two people instantly become unsure of their personal political standings...

It suddenly hit me that a very large percentage of the Obama voters are the ones who are swayed by gossip, tabloids, and, of course, unfounded ramblings of a UK entertainer.

...and THAT scared the crap out of me.

I was watching Glen Beck the other day and he had the Nuge on there. Was very interesting the position both of them take.

The current democratic party has become marxists and the current republican party is the democratic party 40 years ago.

The lesser of two evil's continues

That is a big concern, and one which everyone should think about.

Hopefully he survives long enough to put together a good staff, and that she's smart enough to rely on that staff to guide her. I worry that she might try to make to many changes to quickly and end up destabilizing the nation to much.

I'd really be worried if he keeled over on inauguration day.

Actually, I think she’s the only one of the 4 that have any executive experience. All the rest only have legislative experience.

My concern is her lack of experience in dealing with national and international issues.

Thats OK because probably a large percentage of VMA viewers are going to vote for Obama anyways.

Whether it's good or bad she will not be there alone. There will be policy experts for any thing that comes up. That is the same with any person in power. All we can do is hope the candidate is strong/comfortable enough to fight for whats right.
