Default Is this the speech that decides the election?

I'm actually excited for the Palin speech tonight. I wish I knew what time it was on, I can't find it anywhere.

As much as I have never been involved with politics before I have to agree with you. After looking at her track record vs. the opponents and other possible VP picks, she definitely stands out.

Shit, 10pm? I am sick of all the good stuff being on late. I need to be at work at 6:30 in the morning, after driving to Chicago and back today to sit thru a 3 hour meeting and getting home from work 3 hours later than normal. I know.. Waaaa.....

She has a good track record of supporting conservative causes, but it's on a short track.

Just about everything about what she has stood up for so far; there are quite a few. She has a gung ho attitude and actually accomplishes what she sets out to do. Look at Obama on the other hand. What has he actually done other than talk? He got something going for Kenya and some other no name item that no one actually cares about.

For a more specific answer, let's take oil for example. She is pro oil and makes no bones about it. Obama on the other hand now says he is anti big oil, but lets look at his track record. The only time he has voted anti big oil is recently when his name began popping up as a presidential candidate. Any other time he was not present or did not vote.

Sure, I am talking about possible pres. v. possible VP, but to actually have someone in office who does something about what they say is the big ticket.

Watching it on CNN right now. They have a countdown going for her speach. My math shows about 10:20.

And yes, it could make or break McCain.

Just watched Mike Huckabee's speech............. Great!

So not having a track record is still more of a track record than Obama has.

Well she has one thing on Hillary, the sound of her voice doesn't make me want to gouge my ears out with a dull spoon.

her daughter has some GIANT fun bags

I'm pretty impressed with her speaking ability... Not as good as Obama, but way better then McCain. What an asset to the ticket.

And instead of coming back at the media for her 17 year old daughter comments, she's parading her on stage. I love it.

Its a huge FU to msnbc, nbc, cbs, and cnn.
