So it sounds like an excuse to go get dirty. I'll keep everyone posted. If you couldn't make it to the meeting and you want to meet up with us, we'll be at the Jeep fest in Copemish on Sat the 23rd.

Mike, thanks for your concern about our safety. Next time we'll get a steel ramp and you can come show us how far you can drive your keyboard up it.
You guys are welcome..I look out for every...but I'll pass on riding up the ramp, it's just not for me

And that's all anyone has to do if they aren't comfortable with a situation, be it what they think their vehicle will or will not do or if they aren't confident in their driving skills. Jumping all over everyone that did do it in what was a very safe environment only makes you look like a moron.

I wasn't 100% on a wooden ramp at first either but a) the thing is built very solid and as Joe said, consistently holds the 1 ton trucks over at Northwest and b) you're crawling up it, you don't rev up to a bajillion rpm's and launch yourself.

hahahah!! no it doesn't...I don't want to drive on an rti ramp because I'm afraid to...i don't want to because I think they are uber ghey...as far as the wooden ramp is concerned I'm sure it's built well but, it's still a wooden ramp, it seems kinda rednecky...I should have kept my comments to myself, it's your club do as you will, I just laugh about it to myself. After all who am I to judge...

Too bad you seem to realize that after the fact.

and 'rednecky' would be a a bunch of 2x4s, not a 6x6 beam

I think that RTI ramp is safer than a trailer ramp sitting on a saw horse.

I have seen that done before, but I will not mention the culprits names, to save face.

I will probably head out early afternoon. What time does everyone get out of work?

If everyone is ok with it, I'd like to have campgrounds in a relative proximity to each other. Anyone up for doing a group effort on dinner Friday night?
