So how did things turn out...did the bird live? Did someone take it from you? Did you have a cookout then serve some wierd tasting chicken?

Could you get in trouble if you actually killed this bird and the wrong person read this, considering it is our State Bird. I remember shooting birds with BB guns when I was a kid and my buddys and I would never shoot the robins because we thought we would get in trouble or something. Just always wondered if that was true or not.

robins are very tasty, but the only meat on them is in the breast, and you have to kill 10-20 to get a family dinner.
