Default 91 CR250 jug question

I have a 91 CR250, had good compression(could push kick starter with hand) friday, well after 2 days at the dunes it cranks over by hand no problem . I know I at least need new rings, but my question is, Is it a plated sleeve, Or can it be bored or honed if needed?

Oops. Dunes will usually ruin a piston if you're not jetter for sustained WFO.

You may have just fried the rings. IIRC, it'll be chrome.
