I like to use a homemade weedburning torch hooked to a 20 lb propane cylinder. cures most any problem encountered in nature.

one of these guys?

I've had a few different ones hanging around the house lately, but if they are in the ground that doesn't make too much sense.

ground hornets. Mean bastards, their stinger doesnt come out after they sting like awsps and such so they can continue stinging and literally cut you open with their stingers. Id mix a heavy batch of bleach and water and take a 5 gallon bucket onto them...then run like hell

I thought a hornet looked more like a bee?

Thread-waisted wasp

lives in open areas throughout the US and Southern Canada. Adults feed on nectar and larvae eat hairless caterpillars and sawfly larvae. Female digs short burrows in sand or light soil, enlarges a chamber to receive immobilized insect prey, and lays an egg. Larva feed initially on nonessential tissues, later eats indiscriminately, killing host.

I recommend this method for all your ground borrowing rodents. Bleach in one container, Ammonia in another container. Approach hole, hold breath, pour equal parts at the same time in the hole until you run out of breath, cap hole with dirt, run, breath, run some more, problem solved…

the cocktail you described will kill most anything is you use enough of it, chlorine gas was used extensively in ww1 and by the nazi's. and the Geneva convention doesn't apply here.
