Default Craigslist : Chevy-powered FSJ with 3/4 ton axles (near Flint, MI)

I am posting this for the seller of the ’78 Cherokee I went and looked at yesterday. It was a bit more of a project than I wanted to tackle, but is still a nice Cherokee for someone to finish. You can contact the seller through their Craigslist ad here in Michigan, near Flint. http://detroit.craigslist.org/car/775042053.html

The Jeep is a nice project for someone to finish. It has ¾ ton Chevy axles under it, SOA front and partially completed shackle flip in the rear. 4-bolt main Chevy 350, TH350 & NP203 T-case are bolted in place. The body has a fair amount of rust along the bottom that could be dealt with. The exterior is Yellow with white top. Interior is black vinyl and the seats/interior are surprisingly in good shape. The headliner is about perfect. It was originally a T18/D20 truck, so the pedals are still there. Seller also has an SM465 or SM420 & t-case to install (not included in sale for $750). It is setting on some really nice 33” tires and rims, but again, not sure if they’re included or not. If they are, the tires alone are worth A LOT.

If someone wants a Chevy-powered FSJ project, here’s one for you. The seller is a really nice guy to chat with and such.

I have a few pics that I can email guys, if you’re interested.

Sincerely,
Greg Taylor :) <><

From what I saw it had typical surface rust. I did not see any cancer.
