Default 92 F150 Help

I have a 92 F150, it has the 300 I-6, Auto tranny, and dual tank options. My girlfriend started it, and put it into reverse, the second it moved it stalled, so I jumped in it because sometimes it is picky about getting the gas in reverse.

Well I went to start it and it just kept trying to turn over, but never would fire up...then smoke started coming out from behind the dash, it smelled real bad, and then it quit and now the second you turn the key on the fuel pump stays on, doesn't matter which tank, it just stays on, Up in the engine compartment you can touch the fuel lines and they are vibrating like fuel is being pumped through them, but the engine still wont roll over...so what do you think is the problem?

I replaced the ignition switch, still nothing different. The fuel pump will kick on when it wants, sometimes right away and it will stay on for minutes, or sometimes waits 40 seconds, or sometimes not at all, there is usually pressure at the rail.

There is no spark whatsoever, I checked all the fuses in the engine compartments distribution box, and checked all the fuses in the fuse box inside, still no luck. I also replaced 2 of the 3 relays and swapped them around with no luck.

There was a check engine light on the dash before I removed the dash, and I bought 2 scanners yesterday at autozone and both just sit there and constantly beep, there is no codes but a solid beeping coming out.

Nothing looks burnt behind the dash that we can see, but there was noticable white smoke coming from where the dash meets the windshield, and it still smells horrible inside from whatever was burning...

So now where should I be focusing?...besides a hand grenade?
