TH350 vs 700R4... T-case adapters the same? (aftermarket ones)

Basic question:

Can you use a (Novak) Dana 300 t-case adapter for a TH350 on a 700R4?

I think the 4 bolt adapter itself is identical, but not sure about the spud shaft....)

I'm pretty sure you can since they both have 4 bolts on the back, as long as the output shafts are the same length.... I'm not positive though.

there is a factory adapter that came on the 700r4 and has the correct 6 bolt pattern on it you just have to open up one hole.

Well, I have a TH350 with a busted case. Already has the Novak Dana 300 adapter.

Just seeing if it would work on a 700R4 as well, since I have to find a replacement anyway...

no they are both 27 spline, but you can get an output shaft from AA for the 700r4. To make it bolt to any application a T350 was bolted to and have the same stick out from the back of the trans as a T350. With out having to use a 2" aluminum spacer.

I think I'm getting a late style 4L60e today... which I'll use a new adapter.
