C4 WOT shift speed/RPM...

Is it adjustable via the vacuum modulator? The C4 behind the 351W in my ranger is shifting about 3800 rpm into 2nd and revs out just a tad more before shifting into 3rd. I think this thing would really move if it would shift closer to 5k rpm. I am comfortable with the part throttle shift points, it is just at WOT it is shifting too soon for my liking. Thanks for the help!
