Bones mentioned this last night.....I'm tinking of ordering some tires. What is the blemish? Out of round, gouges in the tire? Just curious if its worth the savings.

FWIW I ordered mine from www.tirepackage.com and paid just slightly more than the $121 blemished priced. $50 freight shipping though.

I used to be in the tire business for a little while.

Blem's are only cosmetic defects. Like the lettering being off. Their are no safty defects.

They sometimes even stamp tires 'Blem' and lower the price just to sell more.

Yup the legally can't sell a tire that has a safty defect. Plus they won't want the law suit if something went wrong.

thanks for the info, looks like I'm ordering some tires. price is $27 less per tire, so that pays for my shipping and mounting.

What.....you can't put bigger tires on your tow rig than you have on your trail rig:miff:

Altho' my tow rig and trail rig have the same size tires....little ones.

boo hoo life sucks

They can't update the page every minute just to please you. In fact this news is spreading like wildfire and it may be shutdown for too much traffic. Boo didn't seem too happy when I talked to him.
