I am not saying we don't have history here mate, I am just saying that you really get a sense of culture when in certain parts of Europe. Especially Rome, buildings that are thousands of years old, not just a few hundred. The US is a very young country, and I do love it here, very much in fact. I love Europe much more though, and travel there every chance I get. I have been all over the United States, not just from the expressway either. I have hiked, rode, walked and relaxed in most of the 50 states and I have camped in Alaska.

well again the US has many sites older than a few hundred years(think native american)...granted they are not as impressive to eyes as europe has to offer but just as old if not older...
