Keyless entry code on 2008 Expy?

Where to find the key pad entry code digits on an 08 EXPY? Anyone know where this should be? I thought on a sticker in door jamb, but can't find anything?

For my Mercury, it was on a card in the manual package.

Yeah, no manual with the vehicle, there's either a sticker somewhere, or I have to find the module somewhere.

Or I can pay Ford $35 to connect to it and tell me?

It may be on the module, but the nicest way is to just connect to it and read it.

I'll check it over this weekend, G/F's truck, she found a sticker with a code up under the glove box, but it didn't work?

Send a message via Yahoo to gotsand?
when I bought my excursion....the only way to find out was to go to a dealer and have it read from the puter....
this is the master code, if this is used you may want to have them clear all of the other codes that could have been created by the PO

Do you have the VIN, i could run it through the Ford Warranty/computer system and see if it is in there?

It Shouldnt Be In The Vin. The Only Way You Would Have It Is On The Ford Card That Is In The Book When You Buy It. Other Than That You Have To Plug In. It Is A Code That Is Only Stored In The Vcm. You Can Cahnge The Code At Any Time, You Just Put In The Orginal First, Then Press And Hold Button 2 And 3. Then Enter The New Code. So The Only Real Way To See What The Current Code Is(b/c It Could Have Been Changed From The Factory Number Already) Is To Plug In At A Dealership. Im Sorry, But Being A Tech And Telling This To Customers On A Weekly Basis Is Not Good. Some Ppl You Could Sakte By And Not Have The Vehcile Written Up-ie, Not Pay For It. I Try To Do Al I Can To Help On Stupid Cases Like These.
Best Of Luck

Look in the owners manual it should tell you where the sticker is at with the code on it. I have seen them before in the jack storage compartment. A dealer should be able to tell you where the sticker is located.

Once upon a time they used to put stickers with codes on the vehicle. You could find this on the rear hatch (Explorer) or the module itself (when it used to be behind the LH rear trim panel).

In the past 10 or so years, they've stopped doing this. I can't remember the last time I've seen a code sticker on any vehicle.

If you go to the (right) dealership and ask very nicely, you might get someone that will hook up and retrieve the code for you.
