Default s-10 tranny

Have a 92 s-10. Its 4wd. It has a 4.3l v6 and a 5 speed manual. Can anyone tell me what tranny it is?

It could be The Getrag 5LM60 or NV3500. It is most likely the getrag because the NV3500 didn't come out until '93

depends what do you wanna do with it? it'll handle a mild 350 in front of it no problem. i know cuz i have one. technically the 2 transmissions are related to each other. the later NV3500 evolved from the early getrag transmission but share no internal parts, you can however swap one for the other without question.
