WWJ interviews granholm about obama, and she says

"Barrack is what we need in Michigan, we need a big change, he can help turn around the Michigan economy".

ummm.. yeah.

I was unaware that Bush was keeping granholm down.

Wonder exactly what she's thinking of when that word and Obama are in the same sentence.

Isn't turning around the Mich economy her job?

I hate that biotch:miff:

And now Kwame won't be seen at Obama's visits to Detroit cause he doesn't want to make a scene, suddenly he's got a conscience now?:tonka:

Exactly what economic policy is Obama pushing for that would help Michigan?

Good thing she's waiting on him to get acting. Doesn't she have a press announcement about making 8.5 new jobs in the state?

Isn't Obama the guy who wants to put strict MPG standards which would put the big three out of business?

How can he possibly help michigan?

Maybe he wants more logging and to pump water from the great lakes to the western states like Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and California?

I just sat through Obama's speech, so I'm practically an expert (Ahem):

Obama said that Bush was holding Granholm down by not helping her keep jobs in Michigan (though giving tax breaks to companies who offshore work, etc...)

He says that, when he takes office, he will be a direct link for her, helping her out from the White House.

So, he is going to have the govt invest heavily to change our infrastructure from gasoline to either:

a) ethanol based
b) hydrogen based
c) a and b
d) something entirely different?

Or maybe he's going to heavily invest in battery technology?

Or maybe none of the above.

He said he is going to create a new government-funded organization to explore EVERY green alternative.

So, in addition to being outraged about the high food costs, he is going to further investigate bio-fuels...

Sweet.

so, the answer is C and D.

Oh come on. Whenever there is a different political party between state and federal, they say/do this type of thing...

The exact same thing would happen if the parties were reversed.
