You said he keeps his truck "clean" - get him a bunch of car wash stuff, new bucket, sponge, tire cleaner, etc. or pay to have it detailed at a local place. Just my thoughts...

If you don't spend a lot of time with him, take him somewhere like fishing. I know it is a hell of a drive for you but if he likes baseball maybe you can take him to t Tigers game or something.

Take him to the titty bar and buy him lap dances

You could always just tell her the two of you went "fishing".

Agreed! Most dads just want the company of their kids.
My dad would shoot me in the ass if I actually spent money on him.

Think creative, and get moms help...some old classic music he used to listen to back in the day, or an old movie or TV show that hasnt been on in years...something to bring back a memory.

find an old photo of the two of you together - blow it up & frame it.

Memories - dads like memories from when their kids actually liked them (HA).
right dads?

My dad's favorite I got him a few years ago... I got him a Grilling tool kit. Has all different tools, and come in a hard case. He keeps it on the fireplace mantle.
