People in our neighborhood still talk to each other, we even sit down and have a few beers.

If it wasn't for my neighbors, I'd have left Eastpointe long ago

I don't have a generator, but I may end up stranded in my house before too long . . .
The rain isn't stopping, and there are already plenty of roads under water . . . like 8 ft.

Pretty much all the farmers I know around here have basically given up on this year's crop. It's been too we all spring to even start planting . . . and now it's even worse.

Good thing I'm a stoopid city boy now, well, a city of 9000 people. lol.

Just curious, do farmers carry any kind of insurance for that type of thing?
I really know nothing about farming.

When I asked a guy last week what the outlook was, he just said, "well, at this point we're about ready to just wait for the insurance check"

You now know just as much as I . . .
