My wife loved it, but I didn't care too much for the walking outside and not being able to take a deep breath because it felt like your lungs were going to explode from the heat.
Pittsboro is really nice, fun place to visit for a day.

Amen on the lung exploding...

Raleigh / Durham isn't that far from Winston-Salem where I was at. For me still would prefer the southern states, but as I said, everyone likes something different.

I know that with the way our roads are deteriorating, I don't enjoy driving my Hot Rod or riding the bikes here as much. And since 90% of my toys are summer fun, time to get out of the snow belt.

That and our economy is not going to bounce back for a while. I would be one of those that head south if the opportunity presented itself.

My company transfered me down here. I'm still doing Loss Prevention, only at a much larger group of stores here.

Good luck in the south... Have you noticed how slow things are there, nothing seems to happen very fast...
Everyone in Raleigh is a transplant. Ive not met one person yet that is actually from here.

It does smell a little fresher around here today. Could just be me, I'm not sure.

Good luck with the new location. Please set up a webcam so we can see your bare ass again.

I used to live in Columbia SC. Yes, it was hot, the people are friendly and much like SC and Fla, you'll find more ttansplants from MI, OH and PA there. When I asked what brought the people down there all of them said - "oh to get away from the winter". Weak.

No doubt its nice down there but I sure missed real winters. I hate to say it, thiough I miss the heat on summer nights though.
