Arrow Holley Carb Linkage & Spring Questions

I have been trying to get a Holley 8007 390cfm carb hooked up on my Offenhauser manifold. This is for a 258ci Jeep motor.

I bought the universal throttle cable from Mr. Gasket and that seems to have solved my linkage problems. My problem now is the springs...the torsion spring on the Holley isn't strong enough to pull the throttle lever back when I let off the pedel. Any suggestions on springs or better ways to route the linkage?

The pick shows how I have the carb mounted now:
