Dont hold me to it, but i think its called "Canyon Falls" on the Sturgeon River, just off 28/41, south of LAnse, west of Three Lakes. This river is awsome!!! I dont have any pics at the moment to show you.

That would make sense. Great cliff jumping spot! Here's a link to that place. The best waterfalls are downstream from the rest area.

This is also is a pretty cool resource.

Damn, this really makes me want to head back up there! It's been too long. The UP is friggin' awesome.

Thats the place alright!! Frickken awsome!! I walked probably 3 or more miles back in there to the end of the canyon itself, along the river. Ends with a really nice, shallow, fall to what would look more like a normal river. Way cool back in there!

Drive through the town of palmer and see the iron ore mine. It's a cool sight. Then go rock climbing on the east side of town down the powerline, very cool bluff with a view for miles and a red lake to look at.

Dead River falls in MQT.

The mulligan truck trail and rainbow falls (logging history).

The 'N' Tree in Big Bay.

Hike Sugarloaf or Hogsback just north of MQT.

Big Erics Brook near skanee

Mt. Arvon (highest elevated forest floor with no view point in michigan lol)

Get a cinnamon bun from the hill top just outside of lanse and baraga on 41.

The "Garden Penninsula" go there and meet up with some locals if you know what I mean.

Seney Wildlife Refuge is cool.

Watch a ship drop off coal and get loaded with iron ore in marquette's upper harbor.

Laughing whitefish falls

We fished that river and did pretty well. We went upstream though where it was more bouldery instead of cliffy.

Where is that? That is awesome. I've never been there before, but have been to pictured rocks many times.

Is the water deep enough to jump off that big rock thing? It looks like it could be.

Not sure on the water depth, but you'd have to be a helluva climber to get back up.
