I, ah was wondering if you feel like that the TSA is doing a good job protecting us from terrorists or are they just an inconvenience and excuse for more government jobs?

Do you seriously believe that their digging through my personal stuff and making me give up a perfectly good pocket knife is the way to keep us safe? I am a law abiding flag waving American vet, and they're busting my chops?

try working in an airport it really sucks dealing with TSA. They have limited what I can bring in my lunch box now I didn't know that a can of Chicken Soup was a threat to security.

judging by the fact that the planes on 9/11 were hijacked by people with box cutters, yes.

quit beig a cry baby. we are at war right now. look at some of the things the government has done during previous wars. suspension of habeas corpus, drafts, and rationing > not being able to take swiss army knives and soup on planes.

I also had in my possession a laptop and all the cords that go with it, that could also be a weapon, in the wrong hands.

I am not sure who said this but it's so true,

While that's true, Why didn't people just fight them? Thier stinking Box
cutters. I know one plane full did, I just don't get how people coldn't just take a few swipes of a Box cutter and get it from them. You might have to get stitches.

Were there any before 9/11? Maybe they picked a Plane because it would cause the most damage and be pretty simple to take over. Now that is no longer the situation, so they probably won't risk it. Just a thought.
