www.turbo-mopar.com

tell them J&H Ryan sent you.

Its quite clear from reading that first page of that caliber forum that the IQ of the members is not quite up to the "caliber" of the above mentioned board. - Though they mostly focus on the older dodges, the theory of modding is much better there. No "which wing looks best on my wagon" threads.

ricers...

argueing things like what "mods" to make.

It produces the pressure equivalent of a 70kph wind so it's pretty much like an air scoop, with the added benefit that it works from launch. Above 90kph, it was hard to feel a difference in my Sunfire but at that speed, it still produced a nice growl on top of the CAI.

The CAI alone gave the car a ~6.5 boost. The ERam was rated, alone, at 7-ish percent but given the CAI already lessen the air restriction, it yielded a 3.5-ish difference on the dyno, wich was expected; you cant just add performance expected gains like CAI 8HP + high-flow 8HP ≠ 16HP but rather about 12HP. Same applies for the ERam.

i've never seen a cold air intake any boost, if anything it'll give more vaccume

that was funny for some reason I read all 10 pages. Now I am going to replace my diesels turbo with an ERAM wait why not 2, and a CAI stat! Betcha at WOT I will be seeing an 3.545% increase in RWHP.

Haters....

that mouser guy was claiming a 3.5hp increase with that turbo thing.

did you read how he determined that?

he wired it to a toggle switch to do the runs, basically the 3.5 hp he is seeing is the less restricted airflow from the thing being on and moving air rather than being off and restricting it.

fucking sheep.
