i like mine, sounds mean. i believe they are a little louder then the regular 40 series. i personaly havent heard of them ever huring performance. just depends on your taste in exhaust tone

I have the Super 40 on my XJ and it's not bad. I believe the Super 40 is supposed to be a little deeper then others. Like Fraser said, it just depends on what your taste is and what it is going on.

I have.... you need to make sure you arent restricting the flow at all. bump up the diameter 1/4" or so and it shouldnt hurt anything.

trailblazer ss, 18hp drop....

it was spinning at 6400rpm so that could have had something to do with it....

if you want sound a flowmaster is a good choice, if you want power go with a magnaflow.

I have both the 40 series and now the delta 40 series in SS. The delta 40 sounds much better.
