A friends car is screwed up. Engine is o.k. from what I have herd, does anyone know about this engine? Its possible to get the car for maby 100 bucks, I would take the engine out and try to just supe the shit out of it. Can this be done, is there a turbo kit, supercharger, headers, new heads, things of that sort. I am not shure I have the displaacment right, its coming out a lincoln that dosent have the big powerful engine. I think its a 4.6L, not shure.
thanks for any and all help.

Lincoln Mark V? If so you can sup the piss out of them. The 4.6L is the Mustang motor. So all 94-2005? 4.6L egine parts should bolt on.

yep what Rocky said. 4.6L is the V8 that replaced the 5.0L 302..its also used in trucks/explorers/expeditions and vans.

4.6Ls are also all aluminum. An engineer I work with builds 4.6L and 5.4L strokers that are nat asp and run sub 10 sec in a mustang.
